Smyth County Registrar of Voters Department

The Smyth County Voter Registration office is located at
The Smyth County Office Building
121 Bagley Circle, Suite 108 Marion, VA  24354
Phone (276) 783-4511 ext. 222

Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
The office is also open the two Saturdays immediately preceding any general election for the purpose of providing absentee voting.

Town Elections

 

Town elections will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Candidate packets are now ready for pickup in the Registrar’s office. 

 

The following offices will be elected:
 

        Town of Chilhowie  -  mayor and 3 town council seats

        Town of Marion  -  4 town council seats

        Town of Saltville  -  mayor and 3 town council seats

 

The deadline to file for office is Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm.  All forms are filed in the Registrar’s office.
