Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
The office is also open the two Saturdays immediately preceding any general election for the purpose of providing absentee voting.

Town Elections 

          Elections in the Towns of Chilhowie, Marion and Saltville will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Each town will be electing a mayor and three council members. Voters in the Town of Chilhowie will vote at the Chilhowie Town Hall. Voters in Marion will vote at the Senior Citizens Center and the voters in Saltville will vote at the Saltville Town Hall. All polling places will be open from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm. Absentee ballots are now available. The Registrar’s office will be open Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm for those who need to vote in person. The deadline for absentee voting is May 3, 2008 at 5:00 pm.
