Engineering Department
Welcome
The County Engineer
works for the County Administrator to plan, organize, direct, evaluate
and prepare budgets for all activities concerning the distribution,
collection, purification, and treatment of water and wastewater. Responsibilities also include providing
technical assistance to other county departments and to the Board of Supervisors.
Responsibilities:
| Special Projects as directed by the Board of Supervisors. |
Review operations of the Water & Sewer Department. |
| Groundwater Monitoring Program for Landfill. |
Development of new water and sewer lines for service
throughout the county. |
| Project Manager for water line extension projects including;
planning, budgeting construction, and operations. |
Project Manager for development of Geographical Information
Systems focusing on county utilities. |
| Review storm-water management plans for development in the
county. |
