Information Systems
The Department of Information Systems (IS) provides full technical
services for the County’s hardware and software systems. IS
contributes to an efficient and productive County government while using
technologies to improve access and services.
Services
The IS Department provides and maintains the following services for the
County:

•Application (Administration, Building/Zoning, ADA, Utilities, Economic
Development, Engineering, 911, Commonwealth Attorney, Victim/Witness, GIS,
Treasurer, Sheriff, Commissioner of Revenue, Animal Shelter, Solid Waste,
CSA, Registrar of Voters)
•Network (Email, security, storage, LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless)
•GIS (geospatial
