Information Systems

Smyth County’s Information Systems Department which is under the direction of the County Administrator and the Assistant County Administrator, directs the development, operation and maintenance of the County's computer-based information technology (IT) hardware and software systems. 

Information Systems (IS) provides professional and administrative services to help coordinate, and facilitate the use of technology and information resources for County government. IS provides services for local government departments along with constitutional offices to help better serve the public.
