Smyth County Sheriff's Office

 

The Smyth County Sheriff’s Office is a full service law enforcement agency responsible for covering approximately 452 square miles. It serves the county’s population of approximately 30,104.  Currently the Sheriff’s Office employs 59 full time and 34 part time employees.  These officers are assigned to Field, Investigations, Court Security/Transport, Civil Process Service, Warrant Service, Crime Prevention, Communications and Administrative.
