The Smyth County Sheriff’s Office wants to help
keep your livestock safe! The Sheriff’s Office maintains a
livestock (cows, horses, sheep, goats, donkeys) database to aid
us with locating owners of lost, missing, or found livestock.
Without livestock owner information, it is sometimes
impossible to locate an owner of an astray that has found their
way onto our roadways. The Sheriff’s office is requesting
livestock owners within Smyth County to submit information
concerning their livestock.
Our livestock database desperately needs to be updated
with current information.
If you are an owner of livestock in Smyth County please

select to print out the form then fax, mail or deliver it to the
Smyth County Sheriff’s Office.
This information will assist our dispatchers and deputies
in their response to calls concerning livestock and their
welfare. We use this information to better serve you!
