Registrar of Voters

The Smyth County Voter Registration office is located at

Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
The office is also open the two Saturdays immediately preceding any general election
 for the purpose of providing absentee voting.



November 8, 2016 Election Information

September 23:  Absentee Voting Begins
October 17:  Last day to register to vote in November election
October 29:  Office will be open 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for absentee voting
November 1:  Deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail
November 5:  Last day to vote absentee in person.  Office will be open 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
November 8:  ELECTION DAY

NOTE:  If you are currently registered and all of your information is correct, you DO NOT HAVE TO REREGISTER in order to vote in the November 8 election.
