Founded in 1961, Smyth County Museum & Historical Society is dedicated to the mission of preserving and protecting the history of Marion and Smyth County through the collection, protection, display and interpretation of artifacts and outreach programs.
The Settlers Museum of Southwest Virginia is a 67 acre open-air museum that tells the story of the people who settled in the mountains of Virginia and how its unique culture was developed.
